On-Campus Requirements: 5 meetings (optional) each term. The majority of work that determines student's grades must be completed in the presence of the instructor or an approved proctor. Some 75% of Associate of Arts and 75% of Associate of Science degrees earned at a distance; the other 25% are on site

Tuition and Fees: Undergraduate: $52.70/credit resident, $196.36/credit nonresident. Other Costs: $20 lab fee for all eLearning courses. Credit by: semester.

Financial Aid: Federal Stafford Loan, Federal Perkins Loan, Federal PLUS Loan, Federal Pell Grant, Federal Work-Study, VA, Florida resident programs.

Accreditation: Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Description: Hillsborough Community College (1968) is embarking on its 33rd year of providing contemporary educational programs to a highly diverse population. HCC's facilities include campuses in Tampa, Brandon, Plant City, and Ybor City. Courses are also offered at many off-campus sites throughout Hillsborough County. More than 45,000 students attend HCC each year. Of Florida's 28-member community college system, HCC ranks 7th in size. Students at HCC embody the spirit of diversity. In addition to a multitude of ethnic backgrounds and age groups, HCC students include individuals who are pursuing a college degree for the first time to those returning to college to increase their knowledge and skills. Because there is no "typical" HCC student, newcomers quickly fit right in.
